Math Empowered's year-long cohort pathways give K–12 teachers the routines, resources, and coaching to shift from Teacher-Start to Student-Start learning, so every student engages with grade-level mathematics. Teachers learn alongside educators across districts and states, drawing on one another's experience as much as ours.
We are not a curriculum. Engagement is instruction-based, not curriculum-based, and the Math Empowered Core Four™ works within any math curriculum your district has adopted. Every kit and tool we provide is sequenced to your approved materials, so the daily routines land inside the teaching you are already doing. The work is grounded in Peter Liljedahl's Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics.
